textured goldtone body, accented with a luminous art glass cabochon. The colors in the glass are subtle but striking as the light hits the piece, with flashes of opalescent gold and pink. The brooch measures about 1 1/4" x 1 1/2". It is signed "SARAH COV" on the back with a copyright symbol. The design of the brooch is called "Delicious" and dates to 1970."Delicious" is featured on page 108 of Sturdivant and Crabtree's book, Identifying Sarah Coventry Jewelry 1949-2009. It was referenced in the Shiffer Price Guide.
The rolling bar clasp is secure.
