Are there any dolls that are more 1970s than the Sunshine Family? They were kinda groovy, but in a homespun way. They were the nice dolls. They did nice things. They didn't crave the lights of the big city. They probably grew their own food, built their own house, used alternate energy, and thought Jimmy Carter was pretty neat.
Mattel starting making Sunshine Family dolls in 1974 and though they had a few iterations and offshoots, the classics are the mom and dad, Steve and Stephie. This is Stephie and her baby, Sweets, both in good condition. T-80
