To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the designation of Shiretoko National Park in Hokkaido and the 20th anniversary of its registration as a World Heritage site, this flying disc was created in collaboration by Snow Peak and THE NORTH FACE, both deeply connected to Shiretoko.
It is made from buoys (floating markers) that washed ashore in Rusha Bay on the Shiretoko Peninsula in Hokkaido, recycling marine debris. (Recycled marine plastic is used in part of the flying disc, so unique marks may be visible on the surface, but this does not affect the quality.)
