This is a ceramic figurine of the Saint Simon Island, Georgia lighthouse, built in 1872.
The 100 foot tower is located on the southern tip of the island and marks the entrance to the St. Simon's Sound off the coast of Brunswick, Georgia. Light from its 3rd Order Fresnel lens is visible for 16 miles.
This elegant figurine made by the historic Lefton company was created in 1993, making it more than 30 years old. It is fairly large, approximately 11 inches tall by 7 inches wide at the base. It is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks, and has its original hang tag still on it.
This collectible item is perfect for an oceanfront home, a lake cabin, a nautical themed home, a boathouse or a home with coastal decor.
